Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) Training and Qualification Course Registration Guidelines
The Center's Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) Training and Qualification Course is scheduled to officially commence in September this year. Users who wish to obtain independent operation privileges for the EBL system are welcome to register. Course registration is expected to open in mid-August. To facilitate registration, qualification review, and course scheduling, prospective participants are requested to carefully read the following course information and requirements before registering.
1. Eligibility Requirements
As the Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) system is equipment capable of generating ionizing radiation, all users seeking independent operation privileges must complete the required radiation protection training in accordance with relevant safety regulations. Therefore, applicants must provide a valid C Radiation Protection Training Certificate for qualification review when registering for the EBL training course. Applications without the required certificate or those that fail qualification review will not be accepted.
Notes
The C Radiation Protection Training Course is organized by the National Taiwan University Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety and Health Center (NTU ESH Center). (https://esh.ntu.edu.tw/#/EN)
Participants must complete the required training and obtain the certificate prior to registering for the EBL training course.
A valid electronic copy of the certificate must be submitted during registration for qualification verification.
2. Course Structure
The EBL training program consists of three sessions, including:
Two training courses
One hands-on practical operation session
Participants are required to complete all scheduled courses and attend the practical operation session in accordance with the program requirements.
3. Qualification Examination
The qualification examination covers all topics and operational procedures taught in the above three sessions. Only participants who successfully pass the examination will be granted independent operation privileges for the Center's EBL system. Participants who do not pass the examination may, depending on their circumstances, re-enroll in the relevant training or practice sessions. Operation privileges may only be applied for after successfully completing and passing the qualification examination.
The Center reserves the right to modify the course content, schedule, and examination requirements as necessary.
