The Center shares the cleanroom and membership management system with the Nanoelectromechanical Systems Research Center (NEMS). Cleanroom access control is managed by NEMS, and all users are required to comply with the regulations established by NEMS.
Membership Registration Instructions:
1. Disable the “pop-up blocker” function or allow pop-up windows to appear.
2. Carefully read all center policies and guidelines.
3. Complete the online registration form, including applicant information, payer information, and invoice information.
(Note: Incomplete information will result in rejection of the registration and failure to pass review.)
Notes:
If your “Organization Name” or “Department Name” cannot be found in the system, please email nems@mail.nems.ntu.edu.tw so that we can add it before you complete registration.
If no payer (professor) information is available, please first apply for a Payer (Professor) Account.
4. The system will send a registration confirmation email to both the applicant and the payer.
5. After verifying that all registration information is correct, the applicant must reply to the confirmation email using the original message (including the original content).
6. After verifying the information, the payer must reply to the same confirmation email using the original message (including the original content) to confirm agreement to pay on behalf of the applicant.
7. Upon receiving reply emails from both the applicant and the payer, the Center will approve the user’s registration. If your account has not been approved within three days, please confirm with your payer whether they have replied to the confirmation email.
8. On the day of the cleanroom training session, please submit a signed user agreement (printed from the instrument reservation system after login) and bring your student ID card for access card registration.
9. During training sessions, participants must wear clothing that complies with safety training requirements. Those who fail to comply with the dress code will not be allowed to participate.
10. Users must complete NEMS safety training (online test), cleanroom training, and upload NTU Environmental Health and Safety Certificates A and B to obtain cleanroom access permission.
