Training & Certification Courses

1.         Before registering for any equipment training and certification course at the center, you must first obtain Excellence Cleanroom access permission and complete card activation. (Cleanroom access authorization must be applied for through NEMS. Please visit https://nems.ntu.edu.tw/Default.html for application details.)

2.        On the 15th of each month, the course schedules for the following month will be announced on the center’s website. Registration opens on the 22nd at 10:00 AM. To register, please complete the course registration form (limited spots available; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis).

3.          Successful registrants will receive a course notification (via email) 3 days before the course and should complete payment via bank transfer according to the instructions in the email.

4.          Fill out the proof of payment submission form and provide the remittance proof. (https://reurl.cc/K21VMM)

5.          On the day of the course, please arrive at Room 207 for check-in 10 minutes before the course starts; the class will begin promptly at the scheduled time.

6.          Those who pass the training, practice (if required), and certification course will obtain equipment usage permission and be able to make equipment reservations.

Notes

l   The course is divided into three types: training, practice, and qualification. The training method will vary depending on the complexity of equipment operation.

l   Receipts can be collected from Room R322, Institute of Applied Mechanics, Main Campus, two weeks after the completion of the course.

l   Proof of payment may be uploaded and reported any time before the course begins. Failure to submit proof of payment will be regarded as incomplete payment, and the participant’s enrollment will be canceled.

l   If you are unable to attend the course, please notify us by email at least three days before the course date. For participants who have already completed payment, the course fee may be retained and transferred to the next session.

l   Participants who arrive more than 10 minutes late or fail to attend will be considered absent. No refunds will be issued, and course fees will not be retained for future use.

l   Please follow cleanroom gowning regulations when attending the course. Participants who do not meet the requirements will not be allowed to enter the cleanroom and will be considered absent.

l   Future equipment reservations must be made through the Semiconductor Research Service Reservation System. Please register an account at https://scrs.tsri.org.tw/ using the same credentials as the TSRI system. Academic users must complete advisor affiliation and obtain approval before they are eligible for academic pricing.
