NTU Hou Yong-Xiong Alumni Scholarship for In-Service Master's and Doctoral Medical/Nursing Staff Application Announcement – GSAT

1. Eligibility
-Applicants must be in-service master’s or doctoral students of our GSAT who are also medical or nursing staff at NTU Hospital (excluding extended-study students, students on leave, withdrawn students, or transfer students).
-Applicants must have excellent academic performance with a GPA of 3.38 or above (equivalent to 80/100) in the previous academic year, and must not have any disciplinary records.
2. Application Period and Procedure
-From September 11 (Thursday) to September 18 (Thursday), 2025.
-Within the deadline, applicants must compile the required documents (in the order listed below) into a single PDF file and email it to the coordinator at zhiqilai@ntu.edu.tw.
Required Documents:

iii) Official transcript and record of rewards/disciplinary actions from the previous academic year. (New students should submit the transcript from their final year of the most recent completed academic program.)
iv) Proof of enrollment (official certificate) or a photocopy of the student ID card with the current semester’s registration stamp.
v) Autobiography (including family background, personality traits, strengths and weaknesses, as well as the significance and intended use of the scholarship).
vi) Letter of recommendation from academic advisor.
vii) Proof of employment as NTU Hospital medical or nursing staff.
3. Number and Amount of Awards
-Tentatively eight recipients per academic year.
-Each awardee will receive NT$100,000.
-The number and amount of awards may be adjusted annually depending on the balance of the dedicated fund.
4. Regulations
Based on the“NTU Hou Yong-Xiong Alumni Scholarship for In-Service Master’s and Doctoral Medical/Nursing Staff” Guidelines.
